Iowa beats LSU to advance to the 2024 Final Four

In a thrilling Elite 8 matchup in Albany,NY, Caitlin Clark led Iowa to a 94-87 victory over defending champion LSU on April 1, 2024. Clark’s performance was masterful 40-point double-double, scoring 41 points and netting nine 3-pointers. She also delivered 12 assists. Angel Reese of LSU dropped in 17 points and 20 rebounds before fouling out in the final minutes. Despite a strong effort from LSU, including 23 points from Flau'jae Johnson, they couldn't overcome Iowa's game plan centered around their fast-paced offense. With the win, Iowa advanced to the Final Four, where they faced UConn in another exciting victory for the Hawkeyes.
